Training Workshops

Each September there are six free workshops across the state. They are sponsored by the North Carolina Association of County Commissioners and North Carolina League of Municipalities. These training workshops are available to staff of the following:

Note: you do not have to be a member of the NC Association of County Commissioners or League of Municipalities to attend but you must be a member to submit debts.

2016 Sessions

  1. 10:30 - 11:30 a.m.- OPTIONAL, but recommended for the following:
    • not currently participating in debt setoff and have not completed the required contractual forms
    • attendees who have attended but want a refresher course
    • first time attendees to a debt setoff workshop
    • currently participating in debt setoff but is a new responsibility
  2. 1:00 - 3:30 p.m. - MANDATORY
    • all attendees are strongly encouraged to attend this session, it is entirely different than the 10:30 session
